A Strong Start to 2026!

Tonight, our committee gathered for the first time since the November election. We reflected honestly on the results, the work ahead, and how we can better serve the people of Hamburg with purpose and unity.
But now—it’s full steam ahead. 2026 is a major election year at every level, and we have a real opportunity to shift the balance and elect leaders who put their communities first.
We were proud to hear from our own committee member Karen Hoak, candidate for NYS Assembly District 149—and even prouder to unanimously endorse her this evening. Congratulations, Karen!
We also welcomed Aaron Gies, running for Congress in NY‑23, and Zach Beaudoin, running for Erie County Legislature District 11. We look forward to learning more about their visions and hosting additional endorsement meetings soon.
