It's Petition Season: Be Kind & Sign!

We've entered the part of the election cycle where we need to get signatures on petitions from registered Democrats in order to get our endorsed Democratic candidates officially on the ballot in June for the primary election (if applicable) and November for the general election.

Our HDC members received their packets this week and are heading out to get signatures for the following candidates, so if they show up at your door, please confirm who they are and then be kind and sign!

• John Gilmour for Erie County Legislative District 9

• Zach Beaudoin for Erie County Legislative District 11

• Karen Hoak for NYS Assembly District 149

• Jacqueline Balikowski for NYS Senate District 60

• Steven Meyer for Erie County Clerk

• Aaron Gies for Congressional District NY-23

Some of these candidates have non-endorsed challengers, so they'll be out there getting signatures too. We believe in the Democratic process, and this is part of it. So, to ensure the integrity of the petitions, please only sign one set of petitions per seat. Otherwise, your signature will get thrown out.
