#NoKings Rally: We Were There. Were You?

On March 28, we joined over 8.3 million people (and counting) across the country at the most recent No Kings Rally. Our local event was held at Niagara Square in Buffalo, NY. It was cold, but we kept warm with speeches, music, a protest walk, and time with good friends. Democracy demands that we stand up and fight for it, so we showed up and stood shoulder-to-shoulder to demand better for our country and all its citizens.

What's next? A general strike on May 1 (May Day). More No Kings rallies are being planned by groups like Indivisible and the 50501 movement, so stay tuned for more info. And if you want to protest now, join the group protesting every Saturday from 11 am to 12 pm at the roundabout by Spot Coffee in the Village of Hamburg. Bring your sign, energy, and determination to save democracy!
